I don't think words can truly encompass how fortunate I was to be able to WWoof at Alyssa and Oceans farm. Not only did they share their beautiful family and home with me, but also a plethora of knowledge over a large span of different topics. From the very start they welcomed me and my dog Annie with open arms, very hospitable and go-with-the-flow kind of people. Any issues I had come up, they were ready to help and accommodate. Their children are fearless and well even teach you a thing or two about the farm life if you let them! I've never met people who loved and cared for animals as they do their own children. This farm is nurtured with respect and love for any creature that they come across to every inch of the land. True farms in my book. If you're lucky enough to be able to WWoof here I can guarantee it'll be one of the most memorable times of your life! I was invited to outings in surrounding towns and even just walks down the street. They have provided me with different resources and information for me to start my own farm one day and have shared little tips and tricks they've picked up along the way! Snow White Sanctuary isn't just a safe haven for animals, but for humans who need a little extra love, kindness and healing too. I can't wait to see them all again, even Hughie the little mischievous goat that is a great escape artist!

Difficult to tell how much living with Alyssa, Ocean and their 2 kids is inspiring! They are incredible, vibrant people. They welcomed my 3 daughters and me as their own family. They invited some campers and us with open arms to celebrate Thanksgiving together around amazing dishes. The property is awesome. Milking the goats and taking care of the rescued horses were our favorites! Ocean is a generous artist who spent hours teaching us skills and sharing his passion. Our stay was just perfect, providing us with precious knowledge and so much kindness! Our kids got along so well: we miss them! We are deeply thankful for this experience and hope to see them again soon!

I had an absolutely amazing time WWOOFing at Alyssa & Ocean's farm! They are truly wonderful people, both generous hosts and simply cool to be around. I was immediately struck by how much love and care they give to every animal on the farm, each with their own distinct personality - even Hughie the goat, who can be a bit of a spoiled troublemaker! My friend Milly and I joined the farm for our first WWOOFing experience, booking for only a week. But as soon as we arrived, we knew we wanted to stay longer. We were so grateful to Alyssa and Ocean for extending our stay and allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beautiful surroundings and daily rhythms of farm life. Thank you again, Alyssa and Ocean, for an unforgettable experience. I hope to return someday and see the farm and all of its wonderful inhabitants again.

My stay with Alyssa and Ocean was wonderful. The farm and the family they create with their wwoofers is incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. During my stay I learned a lot about animal care and environment conservation. In general Alyssa and Ocean are great teachers and love to share their extensive knowledge in various fields. I felt free to express my own interests and to try out things that i would have been otherwise scared to do otherwise (e.g. beekeeping). Aside from the work on the farm, we were also included in the activities and the community. I especially enjoyed the work with the goats and the horses and spent a lot of time outside milking, feeding and brushing. This place really is a sanctuary not only for the animals. Thank you guys.

I had a fantastic time as a first time WWOOFer with Alyssa and Ocean, even though I was only able to stay a short while! They are both gentle and kind-hearted people, and the love they have for their animals is clear to see. I enjoyed milking goats, feeding the horses and chickens, clearing invasive species, building garden beds and a peacock coop, and more. 2 baby goats were born during my stay, which was a highlight, and it was great being with the other WWOOFers and campers. I really felt at home and would love to return in the future!

Alyssa and Ocean are truly wonderful, kind, and caring people. Their family is so sweet & open-hearted, and I had such an amazing experience WWOOFing here. Their land & swamp ecosystem is very unique with lots of beautiful wildlife, flora & fauna. Callie & Skittles their horses are lovely, and their pig Tractor Cakes gave me lots of smiles :) They have a beautiful dairy goat herd, and I really enjoyed milking and learning about their processes. One of their goats even had a baby while I was there! Another WWOOFer and I checked out Shangri La Botanical Gardens nearby one day- highly recommend!!! There is also a nice beach a fairly short drive away, and while we didn’t take them that day- Alyssa & Ocean offered to let us bring their paddle boards. You really feel like family here, and we did lots of cool activities together in addition to farm projects. Alyssa & Ocean are very knowledgeable about their land, social justice, and just have a lot of interesting life experiences- I learned a ton from them, and left with some good resources too. Overall a really great experience, I would definitely come through again! ♥

An earth guardian's dream come true! (5/5)

“This project is so full of love, it is a beacon of hope! My partner, friend and I were grateful to be a part of their first tree transplant. Alyssa, Ocean and their family welcomed us with open arms and hearts. They educated us about the land, trees and animals throughout our visit. Being able to explore the land ourselves gave us a deeper connection too. It is a truly special place!
This organization is making compassionate, mindful efforts to return the land to its natural way. They have made large, positive changes for the environment attainable, practical and properly executed with much care for the animals, people and the land. They are making huge waves in consciously living in harmony with the land, while teaching others to do the same. It's awesome, I could say so much more but you should visit yourself! You can plant a tree, learn about hydroponic systems, connect with rescued animals. I'll be coming here as often as possible, my heart was so at home.”

These Cats Rock! (5/5)

“I met this group as a recommendation from a friend and showed up with little warning and no formal introduction to plant trees. They have already done so much to clean up their land and completely sold me on their vision to plant a forest. They were kind, loving, and great hosts. I learned a lot about the history of the land, animals they care for, and planting the trees. The act of planting was so personally rewarding. They have me on their team and I’m my heart. Can’t wait to go back!”
